One-Line Bio

Writer and teacher

I must have done something horrific in an earlier life, as in this one I ended up being an English teacher. I have no idea what it was, but when I find out I'm going to apologize. Profusely.

I live in Bang Kra Theuk, a suburb of Bangkok that actually just sits over the border in the province of Nakhon Pathom. This province is famous for two things: the first is the world's tallest Buddhist monument (the Phra Pathom Chedi), and the second is Thailand's highest concentration of pig farms. This says something significant about the nature of life.

I teach writing at an international college a few kilometers from where I live. I've been doing it for eight years (near enough). The university I work at has been kind enough to fund me for a doctorate (Yay them!). My life is now filled with paper.

If you're an MUIC/MU student reading this and you want to get hold of me, my telephone number is 085-364-1372, and my office is in room 5314 in the SCB building. You can email me as well:

As well as teaching, I also write short stories and novels. Some of the former have been published, none of the latter (alas and yet).
